To experience a project management simulation and practice your PM skills, purchase and download SimProject®. It is a simpler version of our simulations that has been designed for university and college courses. This simulation gives students a way to practice and develop newly learned project management skills! It is currently included on a CD with Kathy Schwalbe's textbook offered by Cengage Learning, Information Technology Project Management, Fourth Edition.

The simulation can be run in teams or as an individual challenge. This lifelike project simulation allows you to lead a virtual team as a project manager. You plan, execute, monitor, control and complete a "real project". The simulation features 10 virtual team members performing 7 tasks over 11 virtual weeks. But, be careful, the project can expand to nine tasks and take longer depending on your ability to manage the project!

It is designed to allow students to save the budget, various status reports and charts in bitmap format for inclusion in a final “lessons learned report”.

Your purchased SimProject® will be good for 120 days of unlimited use.
